Siddhantarahasyam - The Secret Doctrine
Shri Vallabhacharya's Secret Doctrine (सिद्धान्तरहस्यम् - Siddhāntarahasyam) is Shri Krishna's direct response to the master's concern about how divine souls can achieve their blissful Lord during this impure age of struggle, the Kali Yuga. Shri Krishna Himself established the foundations of the Path of Grace (Pushtimarg) on this auspicious night, when He appeared before Shri Vallabhacharya by the banks of the Yamuna River in the sacred town of Gokul. The secrets of soulful dedication and divine connection are revealed in the following eight verses.
śrāvaṇasyāmale pakṣe ekādaśyāṁ mahāniśi sākṣādbhagavatā proktaṁ tadakṣaraśaḥ ucyate (1)
In the dark fortnight of the month of Shravan, on the eleventh night (Ekadashi), at midnight, the Lord Himself spoke. I will relate those words verbatim.
brahmasambandha karaṇātsarveṣāṁ dehajīvayoḥ sarvadoṣanivṛttirhi doṣāḥ pañcavidhāḥ smṛtāḥ (2)
By establishing Brahma Sambandha, all the flaws of the body and soul are eradicated. Indeed, five types of flaws are recognized. (2)
sahajā deśakālotthā lokavedanirūpitāḥ saṁyogajāḥ sparśajāśca na mantavyāḥ kathañcana (3)
These five impurities, arising from birth, time, place, worldly knowledge, association, and touch, should never be considered (as binding) after Brahma Sambandha. (3)
anyathā sarvadoṣāṇāṁ na nivṛttiḥ kathañcana asamarpitavastūnāṁ tasmādvarjanamācaret (4)
Otherwise, the complete removal of all impurities is impossible. Therefore, one should avoid things that have not been offered (to the Lord).
nivedibhiḥ samarpyaiva sarvaṁ kuryāditi sthitiḥ na mataṁ devadevasya sāmibhukta samarpāṇam (5)
Those initiated (with Brahma Sambandha) should perform all actions only after offering them. This is the established principle. The Lord of Lords does not approve of offering what has already been enjoyed. (5)
tasmādādau sarvakārye sarvavastusamarpaṇam dattāpahāravacanaṁ tathā ca sakalaṁ hareḥ (6)
Therefore, at the beginning of every action, everything should be offered to Him. The statement 'It is all His, so it cannot be taken back' is a different doctrine altogether. (6)
na grāhyamiti vākyaṁ hi bhinnamārga paraṁ matam sevakānāṁ yathā loke vyavahāraḥ prasiddhayati (7)
Just as the conduct of servants is well-known in the world, so should the conduct of devotees be. (They offer everything.) (7)
tathā kāryaṁ samarpyaiva sarveṣāṁ brahmatā tataḥ gaṅgātvaṁ sarvadoṣāṇāṁ guṇadoṣādivarṇanā (8) gaṅgātvena nirūpyā syāttadvadatrāpi caiva hi (8 1/2)
Similarly, by offering all actions, everything becomes Brahman (divine). The impurities of all faults, the descriptions of good and bad, become like the Ganga. Just as everything becomes Ganga by joining it, so it is here (with offering). (8, 8 1/2)

Thus ends the 'Siddhant Rahasya' composed by Shri Vallabhacharya.
